I would like to thank you for the endeavors you have made in publishing this article. I am trusting the same best work from you in the future as well. In fact your fanciful writing abilities has inspired me to start my own blog now. Genuinely the blogging is spreading its wings rapidly. Your write up is a fine example of it.

Ichha, a very good article and well written. You are a good writer. It is great to see your grandfather happy - home at last after the hard life in the camps.

I liked the way you have exaggerated the foreign land. You may be living better life there than you have ever lived yet.But don't think that you will be ever happy there. Don't forget the past that you have suffered. The life that you have got there, perhaps,be impossible for the majority of our people to attend.you have almost sowed the seeds of your wisdom and talent among our people.Don't let it fade on siddling.Let your horbored talent prove that physical territory doesn't bind you for the stuggle towards our land.My best wishes are always with you.
all the best........................

At times one has to be more practical than professional. The Beldangi incident was a similar one. There has been a generation gap among the seniors and the emerging youths with vast deviation in the way of thinking and taking an issue. Ichha was reluctantly thinking that the gathering was all his fellow mates and they would never harm him as he was working for the public goods and not the private benefit.
Time and again we informed Ichha and media group to be more cautious while visiting the camps especially to the programs of the left groups. Without informing anyone and thinking that he could extract some secrect or confidential matters to the general public, Ichha went to the spot. Which he shouldn't have done.
I went to Ichha's house at the camp and asked his whereabout. When I found that Ichha has gone to the program spot of leftist, immediately I sent my brothers and very close relatives for his rescue. By the time my relatives reached there, he was already mis-handled by the group. Luckily those people whom I sent prevented him from making the situation even wrost. They could help him to escape from the scene and finally hide him for a night under the bed.
It is very hard to delinate the attitude of younger generation as they lack the apathy. Most of our valued cultures are slowly fading with unethical threats that are introxicated by uncivilized paradox.
We talk big things, raise many issues as per our level and exposure. But we seldom study its feasibility. We need to talk about things that we can do and achieve. Start thinking very basic or fundamental of our society and target accordingly. We should plan our society first, educate them and let them distinguish what is good and bad. Our younger generation started saying red for black objects because their leaders identified for them.
Like a project, we need to review our settings and modify them when the road to achievement are too rough and find another smoother path.
Vision of Bhutan News Services is very clear 'the freedom of expression in Bhutan' and mission is to achieve it through struggle.
When you are clear of what you are doing, things will go in your favor. I want to pin-point here that our leaders should have a clear, simple and public oriented vision with strong mission.
I personally appreciate the fathomless contribution of our young media friends. Vidhyapati, Thakur Singh, Ichha, Indra, Kazi, Buddha, Teju Prakash and group- I'm proud of you. Your contibution to bring The Bhutan Reporters' and BNS at present status is simply the best. Wonderful!!!

Ichha has done a great job writing his story. He is fluid and expressive.

We have personal stories like this in every one of us. Obviously by not writing them down we are doing an injustice to our people, especially the next generation. Anything is temporary until it is written, and any written material is useless until it is read. I hope our community will atleast read what our young bhais are writing and apppreciate their efforts.

Ichha is a youth who has found a way to become a better member of the community. He along with some other young journalists are setting an example for others. Keep it up.

Persu Dai
thnx for ur contined support for BNS. While we are committed to fight for the freedom of expression, even a word of solidarity would mean great for us. Still, we have a long way to go, importantly to change attitude of our people. Let us hope for the best.

A very nice article Ichha Bhai. It is really emotional to read the difficulties you have faced, particularly in journalism. I think you do not have to endure such suffering now. You are in the land of opportunities what we call in Down Under.
Wherever possible we are ready to support young journalist like you and other friends all over the world.
Well done Bhai

A fantatastic art of expression and a sad story of a journalist who is not protected by a law in Nepal. What is UNHCR doing to protect him?
