Bedangi-II, September 8: KB Khadka, a social activist cum former camp secretary of Beldangi-II Extension, was knifed to death on the spot at 6:00 pm today by unidentified persons, who fled the scene promptly.
The eye-witness said that his body is still lying on the spot, surrounded by Armed Security Personnel.
The security has been tightened in all the three Beldangi camps following the attack.

we all are very desperate and shocked to hear the untimely and sudden demise of Mr k.b kharka, who was kindness and helpful to everybody. I would like to extend my heartfelt condolence to him and pray to god that his departed soul will rest in peace in heaven and may god gives the strength to his family to bear the grieve.

I have now words to express on this , I am nervous.. Karna was my school mate, child hood friend, gaulay sathi, we were sunday market mates in gelephu before the problem and met many times in phuntsholing after the proble and shared our lives and have aspiration for future.
This is the biggest shock to me.
No words right now but we have to trace the root of such cause and prevent other dear ones to loose lives so precious

I AM EXTREMELY SORRY: It is absulutely unfortunate. AND now,I am constantly wondering since I read the news as to why he was killed this way. Besides finding the culprits, it would be of sinificant importance for all the bhutanese communities especially in the camps to find the real cause of this cruel development and focus on avoinding such incidents in future. For now, my heart goes to all the family members, friends and relatives of Mr. Khadga.

This is something really bad,as i know k.b sir is a social advocate,idon’t know his present position regarding resettlement issues and present politics of bhutan,as far as i know slaying of leaders started with R.K budathoki,this is very bad,i do not say they were hundred percent right in their deeds,they might have done some mistakes, but they should given chance to correct it.Non of leaders as white as snow.i would like suggest remaining laeders in the camp or in the premises of camp to be very cautious and find some kind of safety.i express my hertfelt condolence to mr.K.B Khadka and pray for hi breaved family that may God gives them strenths to over come the sorrow.

I’m really shocked with the news of KB Khadga’s death. It is the great loss to Bhutanese.
I expressed my heartfelt condolence to him and his bereaved family and the relatives. Let his soul rests in heaven peacefully. And let God helps the bereaved family and the relatives to overcome this sorrowful event.

I am really sad and shocked to hear the sudden and sad death of Mr K.B Kharka.
The news has made all of us very sad.I didn’t even immagine that he would be knifed.It’s really the sad news for all the Bhutanese.I pray to the allmiighty god to give him peace and bear the irriparable loss of his departed soul.

i feel too sad to here this news.i can say surely that the one man only in camp who used to this well for all and help for all is no other than him,and no one can do help like he has done.in this world we cannot find the man like him.i m in usa northcarolina here people are planning to not to celebrate dashain because of this bad accident.we should not leave the murderer alive……………….
